Medical Records Representative is responsible for requesting medicals records, making follow up calls to medical providers, and coordinating payments for medical records.

Essential Functions:

  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and maintain closed client files
  • Request medical records pursuant to client requests
  • Make follow-up calls to medical providers regarding status of medical records requests
  • Process outgoing mail for the firm for pick-up and delivery to the mailbox/post office
  • Receive all incoming mail and forward it to Document Processing Department
  • Coordinate payments for medical records
  • Maintain closed client files
  • Effectively utilize case management software to manage workload, document all work, case expenses and payments, and communicate with firm employees
